Hey Friend,
Last Sunday for Father’s Day we watched The Nonnas — and wow, did those ladies dish out some wisdom (along with pasta, of course). One line really stuck with me:
“When you stop learning, playing, and growing… that’s when you really get old.”
Boom. Straight to the heart. And honestly? Spot on — it’s how I used to sign off these emails. Because here’s the truth:
- Learning keeps your brain switched on (and stops you swearing at the remote).
- Playing keeps life fun — laughter, silliness, dancing in the kitchen, all count.
- Growing means you don’t just get through the week… you actually thrive.
Which is exactly why I run the Strong and Sassy Squad — for legends 60+ who are ready to play, get strong, and keep growing, twice a week, in good company. We move, laugh, learn, and throw in a little sass of our own (you know I can’t help myself).
So if that sounds like your kind of fun — or you know someone who needs this in their life — come and find me. Because let’s face it: you’re not “too old.” You’re just getting started.
Stay Sassy, Nikki
