Hey Friend,
Ever have one of those moments where something you’ve dreamed about just… shows up in real life? Like — bam — there it is, right in front of your eyeballs. That was me this week.
The studio merch finally landed — and while yes, it’s just fabric and logos and stickers to some, to me it was a big fat juicy symbol of a vision slowly, steadily becoming reality. From an idea in my head, to a logo I’m damn proud of, to navigating the maze of inclusive styles (because y’all are a diverse and fabulous bunch), to wrangling printers, packaging, and shop logistics.
And then, this week, I looked up during a session and really saw it. Two powerhouse women in their 60s and 70s having a cheeky mid-set catch-up. Two newer Animal Flow instructors practising hard for their movement tests (because certification isn’t a free pass — we earn it). And scattered throughout the room all week, people rocking the new gear like we were already part of something way bigger than a training session.
I had to take a sneaky photo just to bottle the feeling. We may not have it all figured out yet — but hot damn, we are heading somewhere very right.
So what’s the point of this (besides a heart-full coach moment)? Celebrate the small wins. They might look like stickers and singlets to someone else, but to you they could be a new habit sticking for two weeks, trying something that used to intimidate you, or showing up for a session on a day when tea and biscuits felt easier.
Small wins matter. They build confidence. They give direction. And they deserve a little dance party of their own. Take a moment today to look around and whisper to yourself: “Wow. Look at what’s becoming.”
Stay Sassy, Nikki
